Sky Net –Lebanon has managed to be a pioneer in addressing a major social problem, which has been taken lightly for some time. From a humane perspective, Sky Net Lebanon has taken a unique step towards its society, and specifically towards Lebanese students.
Under the title of “School Bag Weight,” Sky Net -Lebanon has launched an exceptional campaign, showing that probably for the first time a freight forwarding company has effective social wellbeing interests, within the scope of its direct industry concerns; and that precisely is what makes this “School Bag Weight” Campaign so unique!
The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness on the health consequences that overweight school bags have on students; especially that these bags have come close to weighing as much as the students carrying them, while the bag’s load shouldn’t exceed 10% of the student’s actual weight!
Through this campaign, Sky Net- Lebanon is taking an initiative to make schools, parents, and the people aware that these students are suffering, and will continue to suffer from medical cases if this problem is not treated.
Once again, Sky Net-Lebanon is speaking to its community and actively acting on spreading awareness in its society … thus proving to have solid social accountability! |
