TNT has extended its road network into Lebanon, through its partnership with The Net Holding, in line with its plan to increase the volume of freight carried on the Middle East road network this year. Due to its strategic geographic location, as being a significant gateway between the East and the West, Lebanon was picked to join the Middle East Road Network. TNT considers this step to be a positive investment, opening a new opportunity for TNT to become the top among its competitors in the regional market. This new expansion plan in the Middle East is also a result of two facts: the Middle East road freight network as being the fastest growing among TNTs other road networks, and the clients strong reliability on road freight. Consequently, the company is expecting to carry 34 million kg, compared to a volume of 19.7 million kg last year.
